You are all familiar with this situation: A customer comes into your store and says he or she is "...only here for the day or weekend" and "Could you give suggestions on how to spend the day, or where to find (insert location)?" We all have favorite "hot spots" to recommend, but what about lesser known places or those unique to the needs of the individual traveler?

Now there is help. LCF Group is pleased to announce the opening of our LCF Help Desk. Conveniently located in the Village Green, we are easy to find in the heart of the Town of Floyd. Our knowledgeable staff will assist Floyd visitors and natives alike with information-what is available to see and do in Floyd, and the surrounding area. We can give pointers on where to shop, eat, spend the night, find events and activities, etc.

We have a rack card display, maps of Floyd, Franklin and Patrick Counties, even a weather station that will give the visitor the 4-day forecast-a great help in planning the perfect Floyd experience.

So what does the LCF Help Desk mean for you, the Floyd entrepreneur? Exposure!! We are here to help you. So make it a priority to tell us about you, your business or organization, let us know about special events and supply information to pass along to our visitors.

We are inviting advertisers in our FLOYD VIRGINIA Publication, and paid subscribers at www.floydcountyvirginia.org to place their rack cards in our display located at the Village Green. Visitors will see it in plain view, and may take your information which is readily available.

Also, you may want to consider offering "coupons" to entice patrons to your store or location. An offer for a free cup of coffee or goodie, or even a small discount on purchases, may be the deciding factor as to whether someone comes into your store or passes on by. We will be happy to distribute these, along with directions to your location and endorsements, all at the same time.

Please come by the Floyd Professional Center during office hours Monday through Friday (2pm to 5pm is best). We would like to know you and your business or entrepreneurial needs. You may drop off your rack card and gain understanding of what we have to offer. Together, we can connect the businesses of the County to the visitors who want to know about them...to help everyone get the most of his or her FLOYD VIRGINIA visit!
